Event Description
Whether it is about living beings or inanimate objects, groundbreaking ideas, innovative businesses, works of art, scientific discoveries, emotions, fears, desires, travel or athletic performance, there is a critical point of creation – the result of hard work or spontaneous appearance – when something small becomes something essential. Birth as a conception, fact, origin and way of formation.
So when does something start? Under what circumstances and conditions? What exactly are the forces that determine the transformation and what are the motivations that guide it? Is birth always driven by a visible or invisible need? Is there room for the random or unnecessary? Are the seeds of harm or benefit included in the creation? Can anything be born without the need of something else being sacrificed? How close is the end at the beginning and to what extent does the beginning contain the ending? Our desire is to start a discussion on these issues that, even if it is not possible to lead to final answers, may shed even a little light on what constitutes our reality. Of course, the most urgent and commonplace question – or perhaps a question mark? – we always remain ourselves, our people and our role, our involuntary or voluntary influence but also the way we are influenced and of course the eternal and always unsolved mystery of our existence.
Event Program
Registration
09:00 – 10:00
Session One
10:00 – 12:00
Coffee Break
Workshop: First aid demonstration
Anyone may suddenly be called on to provide first aid in an incident and a timely response and the knowledge of what to do is often what determines the difference between life and death.
This workshop covers cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), the use of an automatic external defibrillator (AED), choking on food or a foreign body and the resuscitation position for an unconscious person.
Session Two
12:30 – 14:00
Lunch Break
Workshop: The second life of materials
In our daily life, countless materials are used once and are then thrown in the waste. However, many of these materials can be given a second life. In this instance, there will be a demonstration of how simple beer or soft drink cans can become useful and how a lamp can be created from recyclable materials.
Session Three
15:00 – 16:30
Coffee Break
Workshop: Discovering my inner child and reconnecting with it…
Our inner child depicts the real and authentic self as expressed naturally (the creative child) or the one who knows difficulties and limitations (the hurt-dissatisfied child).
With this experiential workshop, we learn to breathe consciously in order to connect with our emotions. We learn to release our chronic physical tensions to work with the blocked emotions of the past which we discharge, and finally to reconnect with our body and our physical senses.
In short, the goal is to discover our inner child and try to help it grow up differently so that we stop being bound by memories, weaknesses and behaviours that reproduce to create many barriers in our lives.
Session Four
17:00 – 18:30
